I thought this was very inspirational. One of my clients told me about your site after speaking about a friend of mine who needs a liver transplant. Apparently you were very inspirational to her! Stephenville, NL

Hi Louise,

Firstly, thank you for your comment. I appreciate hearing from readers. As to your question... we all have that feeling that there are never enough hours in the day. It's a challenge we all face. One way to combat it is to simply put less on your to-do list each day. Many of us try to squeeze in too many things so we feel like we're always behind, because we are! We can't expect ourselves to be super-human. There will be obstacles, unplanned surprises and other things that get between us and getting through our schedules. Allow for that time.

Another thing you can do, if you don't already, is to write a list of everything you want to get done each day and PRIORITIZE it. Put the things that are most critical to get done, first, and those least important at the end, and then knock them off from top to bottom. That way, if you only get 1/2 way through your list, you'll still have accomplished the most important things. Everything else just gets moved over to tomorrow's list and if it's now more urgent, gets moved up the list.

I am working with a new priority setting tool right now that I have adapted from someone else. After I have time to use it for a few weeks, if I like it, I will share it with everyone on the blog.

Thanks for your feedback. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi Mark ! Just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your video-logs very much and this one was especially eye-awakening ! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work ! A question for you about time : How does a person manage that gnawing feeling of never having enough time ? I don't know why I always feel like I'm running out of time no matter how well-planned my day is, and personally, it is driving my crazy !!!
